We were commissioned by Nutrimenti Publishers to design the cover for the Italian translation of A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain, a novel by Robert Olen Butler. The book is a collection of stories told in the first person by Vietnamese immigrants living in the state of Louisiana. The stories blend Vietnamese folklore, memories of war and American pop culture.

Images related to the book are printed on the reverse side of the cover to give the reader a surprise when the book is opened.
