Monroe County Public Library Identity

The public library of Bloomington, Indiana, was in need of a new identity. We redesigned the identity and created a complete graphic standards manual for the client including guidelines for a full stationery system and other printed materials. A page from the MCPL graphic standards manual is shown.

The tree, as both a symbol of knowledge and to represent Bloomington’s status as a ‘Tree City USA’, were the inspiration for the redesigned graphic identity.
