FAO Watershed Management Booklet
The Forestry Department of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization wrote this informational booklet on watershed management to explain how watersheds play a pivotal role in the ecology of our planet and contribute significantly to the wealth and welfare of human societies.
The client requested a serious design for the project and had strict budgetary requirements, hence the two-color design. The palette of the resulting booklet is simple and natural, and the colors were used to the maximum effect with rich duotone photographs and various tonalities in the display of information in maps and tables.
